Septic & Grease Trap Pumping TechnicianWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Septic & Grease Trap Pumping Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a vacuum pump truck to service residential and commercial septic systems and grease traps. This includes locating, exposing, pumping, and cleaning systems while providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain a vacuum truck for pumping septic tanks and grease trapsLocate and access septic tanks or grease interceptors using maps, probing, or visual markersGreet customers in a friendly, professional manner and explain the pumping process clearlyCommunicate with customers on site to answer questions, provide system information, and offer maintenance tipsMaintain a clean and professional appearance and represent the company positively at every jobPerform thorough cleaning and removal of waste in accordance with health and environmental regulationsAccurately document service details, including tank size, condition, and any concerns observed during the pumpingEducate customers on proper system care and alert them to any issues found during serviceEnsure proper disposal of waste at designated treatment facilitiesMaintain truck cleanliness, tools, and daily service logsCommunicate clearly with the dispatch and office team for scheduling and updatesFollow all safety and compliance proceduresRequirements:Valid driver's license (CDL A with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain)Ability to work independently outdoors in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyProfessional attitude with strong customer service skillsAbility to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and perform physical laborPrevious septic, plumbing, or related field experience is a plus but not required—we're willing to train the right candidateWhy Join Our Team?Competitive pay with opportunities for overtimeCompany-provided training and certification supportFamily-oriented company cultureService vehicle and equipment provided during work hoursWeekly pay and direct deposit availableMedical insurance 50% employer-paid the first year and 100% paid after that401(K) retirement planDental, Vision, and life insurance plans availablePaid holidays, vacation time and sick timeIf you're ready to join a talented, goal-driven team and build a rewarding career in the plumbing industry, apply today!
